Smart Control Tower (Telematics IOT and Auto Scheduling)

Today’s retail and transportation markets demand constant change to remain competitive. The Kroger Co. (“Kroger”) has initiated numerous Transportation Visibility programs to improve how we do business together. We strive to become a customer of choice with you and recognize that our current technology capabilities are one of the barriers to achieving that status.

With this in mind, Kroger has retained One Network Enterprises (“One Network”), based in Dallas, TX, to collect the real-time location of inbound loads to Kroger Distribution Centers (DCs) captured via your tractor’s Electronic Logging Devices (ELD). Initiating this process change requires that all carriers enable their preferred data transmission configuration via their current ONE Network account.

Carrier ELD data will be sent to One Network via ELD, Mobile Device, EDI, or API. One Network will be responsible for aggregating and presenting all data to Kroger. Still, all asset carriers will be responsible for installing and maintaining the preferred connection that would communicate this Data with OneNetwork’s platform.
